Beach Location: Bay Avenue, between Higbee Avenue and New Jersey Avenue

The beach is open to the public on weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and open daily as of mid-June.

There is no boardwalk or bulkhead to traverse to access the beach. Restrooms and an outdoor shower are available. Free parking, a children's playground, and a fishing pier are also available. The boat ramp is located at John F. Kennedy Park.

September 19–20, 2026 · Ski Beach, Ventnor

A few minutes from Somers Point, Ventnor's annual seafood festival at Ski Beach features local seafood vendors, a beer tent, live music, and a chowder cook-off by the bay. A great late-summer day out for the whole family.

The 51st annual classic car and street rod show rolls onto the Ocean City Boardwalk just a few miles from Somers Point, with hundreds of vintage cars, live music, and family fun along the ocean. A highlight of the fall shore calendar.
